Any amount that he is fined is irrelevant. I also don't care what happens to his cronies.
This whole case also shows that the so-called checks and balances our gahmen crows about do not work. Money is what's important.
Those few guys who made 'allegations' against the NKF, which we now know to be fact, had to give up apologise and pay damages because they did not have the financial resources to go against Durai and the NKF. If not for Durai's 'own goal' trying to sue SPH, people will still be paying to support the lifestyles of him and his cronies -

He has taken advantage of the compassion of the general public, make a fool of their hard-earned contribution and taken them for a ride, all the while indulging in his self-gratification of luxury and splurging, and laughing himself to the bank.

i think durai must have done his sums...he's not stupid...of the $12mil plus cost they are looking to reclaim, let's assume he is responsible for about 6 to 8 mil, he must have figured he can part with this amount and still have a nice nest egg after the jail time for his criminal prosecution....he should have pleaded no contest before the case went public, at the very least to save himself from further condemnation......
