It is pointless to write about Singapore in international parody/joke sites for an international audience. Nobody in the world gives a hoot what the government does in Singapore and what they do to Singaporeans. We are on our own.
If I get good feedback I will continue. If I get bad feedback, I will still continue but will try to improve. I hope that is acceptable. -

Singapore's Urgently Redundant Administration (URA) has setup a task force consisting of stakeholders in Little India. After receiving numerous complaints, the URA decides to look into the darkness in Little India.
"We are puzzled why Little India is darker than the rest of Singapore," URA's spokesperson said. "We have installed as many street lamps as all the other places yet during certain times, especially when there are big crowds there, the whole area dims down."

That Little India satire hopefully serves as a reminder for the URA to the "improvements" they tried on Chinatown and totally destroyed the character there.
I can foresee a couple of things; Little India becoming "sanitized" and rentals increased, driving away the "cheapest in Singapore" shops and the multitude of independent Indian Jewelry shops replaced by the big boys. -

Like African Americans have no problems being referred to as "Blacks" because it is a fact! Chineses like myself are "Jaundice Coloured" and that is a fact! White reflect light and Black absorbs light are facts! -
