I had thought about this since NKF incident started.Originally posted by ShutterBug:I thought all these while you people in here already knew?
Problem is, there's NO ONE above PAP, that's why they can keep on doing what they have been doing, with no fear or conscience.
Sentiments of society here is potentially turning into a large pot of Poison Stew.
I tell you, for things to change politically in Singapore, it will take a real big fall to be reborn again under a different government...Originally posted by (human):I had thought about this since NKF incident started.
When a government becomes powerful it is destructive, extravagant and violent; it is an usurer which takes bread from innocent mouths and deprives honorable men of their substance, for votes with which to perpetuate itself.

NKF trial: Durai paid about-to-resign Matilda 6-month bonus
Posted: 09 January 2007 1231 hrs
SINGAPORE: The way former NKF CEO TT Durai paid out salary increments and bonuses to a selected few was one of the key issues raised in court on Tuesday.
On the second day of the NKF civil trial, NKF's lawyer K Shanmugam said Durai did not consult the executive committee on the matter.
An example, Mr Shanmugam highlighted, was that Durai paid a 6-month bonus to former board member Matilda Chua knowing that she was about to resign.
Mr Shanmugam said Durai also removed any employees who disagreed with his decisions to implement certain policies.
Such action, he said, perpetuated Durai's control.
The NKF lawyer said Durai also concentrated on raising funds and not on patients' welfare.
Mr Shanmugam illustrated that fund raising activities earned the charity more donations but the amount spent on dialysis and transplantation fell. - CNA/ir
Voilà ! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.Originally posted by maurizio13:"V for Vendetta" interesting show, reminds me of our plight.
