  Why are singapore women marrying late??
  This has been a trend in our society nowadays.Despite all the incentives the government is providing,women still prefer to remain single or marry late?????

  i think its not just women that marry late. it takes two hands to clap. basically women and men prefer to marry late now, with the most common reason being to pursue their careers and have financial security first before committing themselves to starting a family.
  
  the blame cannot be placed solely on women's shoulders, since no woman is going to get married even if they want to, if no man wants to.
  
  as for the financial incentives that the government offers, i think that only helps to ease one aspect of the burden that starting a family causes. they're other issues like the stress and time involved, etc, which has been increased ten-fold with the ever-increasing competitiveness in the education system here.

  Cos too many poor,ulgy,fat,short,stupid,pervertic,unromantic,etc men around. Age is catching up as the days goes by...so it comes to a day when ur time is up n bohbian anyhow grab 1 n marry.

  yes......feminism is one of the most deluded and bigotic (if there is such a word) movements i can think of. the majority of feminist seem to be extremist, and all they seem to promote is the erosion of traditional responsibilities, without any form of reciprocation or validitation of whatever new roles they wish to take on.
  
  women claim childbirth is their form of NS, but the falling birthrates say otherwise...and yet they still refuse to serve NS.
