Well i am sure almost all of you are aware of the increase of GST to 7%. By doing that, we expected the Gov to increase our SALARY... But what did the Gov do... they increased our CPF funds which was partly the Gov funding... So the gov is the only winner in this game.
As we all know the CPF funds usually goes to waste and only a small part of it are used after our retirement.
Besides i wanna here are u think of this idea:
At the age of 30, we are allowed to withdraw u to 15% of the CPF.
At the age of 40, we are allowed to withdraw u to 25% of the CPF.
At the age of 55, we are allowed to withdraw u to 40% of the CPF.
At the age of 60, we are allowed to withdraw u to 80% or more of the CPF.
Views?? -
how can the govt increase your salary unless you are in the civil service?
of course you are right. the cpf increase only benefits the govt. its obvious. -
Walao, I si-beh-sian of all these gov tricks...
All I can say is; I let them take my CPF, Retirement Funds, Medisave whatever so called "saftey net", and when the time comes, I will throw my passport and IC in thier face and demand all my money back when I migrate.
To hell with them man...!!

I fully agree with thorn about the views on how the gov becomes smart in tis kind of things.
His suggestion does also sound like a sensible idea.
