Commuters please boycott the use of Comfort-DelGroÂ’s green taxis and send a strong signal to our taxi operators that the higher increase in fares are not justified at all.

I don't see any logic in this. Did bus commuters pay extra to travel on the green buses?

A mistake they made and dun want to admit -

Anyway, comfort will reply the increase is to justify the higher cost of cars.
quite frankly i dont know why comfort wish to save the environ. instead of saving our lives.
most of the cabs in singapore dont even have airbags which has already become almost a standard item in all private cars. maybe QQ also have.
is this call the social /corporate responsibility of an union? GLC? or transversitites company?

In fact with the shortage of range, more are likely to extend the current COE esp if it carries on with $1... I believe with another 2 more rounds staying at $1, 10 yr renewal rate is $1
If it's done in Q3 07, this would not have happened -

Ironically Comfort-DelGro’s issued a statement that the green taxis are “about the same or slightly higher than the Toyota crown—“ whatever that means! -

this cannot be encourage, how we not they not using that as an excuse to raise fare?
since they cannot raise fare officially, next time they say get better engine = raise fare, get better sound system = raise fare, get better headlight = raise fare, how? if all the cab company follows, then no different from raise fare mah.... -
