Another myopic vision, "installing engine control devices"

Just heard on the news, Prof Ho Peng Kee wants to install devices on trucks, used for transportation of goods and materials, to prevent terrorist from using it as a bomb truck.
Doesn't he know that terrorist can alter those devices if they want to? It's the same myopic vision as the NTUC Comfort taxi investments in China; they leased out taxis to the local taxi drivers in China with a deposit and all the relevant documentation, all these taxis have global tracking devices. First day after they leased out all those taxis, all the taxis went missing. Can anyone confirm this story? I heard it from alot of taxi drivers.
That's what you get when you get a bunch of top scholars with no practical ability. Good in theory, but when it comes down to practicality, they just can't tie it in. -
Dude our Elite ministers needs to be chaffauered in their continental cars all the time.
Put them in their own constituency or some hdb, and they would be lost, not knowing how to take bus.. our tcs media also glorifies them as supreme man in white...
so pure that i never ever see them go toilet or speak broken english before.. even taps also have to be made gold.

I suppose all terrorist are law abidding citizens like all Singaporeans and they won't or can't tamper with the advanced electronic devices. Same issue with the NTUC Comfort taxi investment in China, they thought China was a small place like Singapore and the citizens are all law abiding. -
