She is speaking out of experience and I do not blame her for voicing her personal remarks. Don't talk unless you have been molested yourself. I do blame her for her lack of judgement in stating that. However the filipino women part - she is just a busybody.Originally posted by saffron60:I think you've heard about the racism row in UK and India featuring top chav celeb Jade Goody on Celebrity Big Brother (CBB).
Coincidently, controversial singaporean blogger Xiaxue, www.xiaxue.blogspot.com, has made racist comments in her blog entry entitled 'misrepresentation', posted on 12/1/07.
These are some extracts taken from her blog:
''I am racist. Everyone is. If you ask me if I would rather be locked up in a
room with a Bangladeshi or a British guy I'd take my chances with the
British, because of my EXPERIENCES. I don't care how you guys start
defending and saying the Bangladeshi might be a gentle, nice guy, but
FACT REMAINS I GOT MOLESTED BY A LOT OF THEM AS A YOUNG TEEN.''
''Are you racist too? It is UNPREVENTABLE to have views and opinions on
the various races, simply because humans have a brain and can't help
but judge.
Racist? I am sorry, but the fact that so many Filipino girls I see around
Liat Towers are tittering like bees around white men,''
This is one blogger who thinks that she is invincible and that no one can stop her from making racist comments, she even calls everyone a racist!
Currently, she has a tv programme on channel 5, singapore called 'girls out loud'. What is more alarming is when you read the readers' comments on the rape case and racism. It just seems so unfair that someone like xiaxue can freely spread the 'seeds of evil' and young people are just following the propoganda blindly.
Xiaxue is not the only molest victim in the world and that does not excuse her from making racist remarks. She should have phrased her sentences more accurately and refer to her molesters as 'the molesters who happen to be of *blank* race. '' That is the correct way of making a personal, non-judgemental remark. But instead she chose to say it in an imflammatory racist way, so she deserves to be criticized for those remarks.Originally posted by fymk:She is speaking out of experience and I do not blame her for voicing her personal remarks. Jade Goody is a moron. She thinks East Anglia is a foreign country. She knew nothing of indians but she chose to make unjustified remarks.
Look, obviously people have their own preferences, but to outright insult an entire ethnic community is a totally different affair, and far more serious one.Originally posted by Agenda:But, Isn't what she said true?![]()

I see a confused, superficial chinese girl with no love or respect for herself.. someone who overcompensates for her lack of character and depth, who is stubbornly in denial.. someone who takes things at face value, is quick to judge and bears grudge. If she wants to fulfill the white man's stereotypical Asian fantasy, let her be.. If she wants to hate our chocolate-coloured friends, let her be..
Poor girl, one day it will all come back and hit her on the back of her head like a giant sledgehammer.[/b]
actually she's more of a singaporean borat.Originally posted by saffron60:I think you've heard about the racism row in UK and India featuring top chav celeb Jade Goody on Celebrity Big Brother (CBB).

could it be because what she says is true and its a nasty side of us that we don't own up to? its true everyone is racist to some extent or other, whether we voice our feelings is another thing altogether, some of us have tact, some don't... that is the difference.Originally posted by carlsonxjd:i think she poly the module "CRS" didnt pay attention in class.

What Xiaxue is saying is like all of us have anger in us, and being angry justifies most of the things we say and do while in that state. Rubbish, a person who is angry still has the choice to obey his anger or not, just as a person who has his own instinctive feelings about other races should obey these feelings or not.
Why should race play into the equation? If she's molested by a Ah Peh does she say that all old men are inherently lecherous? Frankly she should get off her soapbox before she's forced to eat her own words one fine day.
