Audit on ministry of finance after charity incidents?

After audit another charity organisation was found to have problem and loopholes in handling money donated by the public. Do you think there's a need to have audit on government especially ministry of finiance by oppositions or government watchdogs?

Impossible man... anyway the money they earning is to help the poor. If not why you think they increase the GST?
If the majority poor (poor but not considered poor in gahment eyes) don't spend money how to help the minority poor (as in those who know how to ask for help, and not get rejected) right? -
I am thinking it's a lot of BULL-CRAP...
Increase GST, we pay for that, tweak CPF, we pay that, and they take what we pay to help the poor.
Why don't just tell us directly to help the poor instead of going through all these WAYANGS??
With the farking BILLIONS they make through all their GICs & GLCs, why the fark are we made to do their farking duty of caring for the people???

Please lah, if no increase GST their bonus will reduce to only 1 month bonus. So lucky they increase, so can have more bonus, higher pay and can keep the so called brains mah. But i start to suspect if they really got brain or not.

It has been a dramatic week for the charity sector, with lawsuits flying, governance probes unveiled, amendments to Charities Act and not forgetting a police report made on Wednesday concerning an unauthorised deduction from the coffers of one organisation.
Hopefully, giving the commissioner of charities(COC) more teeth- as was debated in the parliament this week- will prevent more charities from ending up like Youth Challenge and the National Kidney Foundation(NKF), which have been in the news this wee, for all the wrong reasons.
While punishing those who ignore the law is just, raising awareness of how to do the accounts right may be the more enduring lesson.
So far, the COC has been given punitive power. Among other things, it can deregister charities, fine them, boot trustees or employees out and restrict public fund raising.
On Youth Challenge's former management board was a director at UBS Bank, a managing director of a company and a finance academic attaches to the Singapore Management University. Still, its accounts fell short of the mark.

It will not be fair if auditor general is one of PAP's member. Singapore Auditor General report is not disclose to public? From this article it tells us it is shown to president of Singapore. Not mentioning the public.
