One rich millionaire was stuck on a small hill in the centre of the river. he shouted for help as the water was fast rising. A young man jumped onto a sampan and started to row towards the millionaire. The anxious millionaire startred to plea to the young man to hurry it up as the water started to rose to his ankle.
"I will give you $5000 dollars if you can save me" shouted the millionaire. The young man row with all his might against the current and the boat started to inch toward the millionaire. the water rosed to the millionmaire knee and the millionaire started to shouted. "hurry....hurry.... I will give you $10,000 if you can save me. The young man rowed toward the millionaire but strangely, the boat did not go as fast.
Soon the water rose up to his hip and the millionaire shouted " i will give you $15,000......$20,000......$30,000......" Before the young man could reach the millionaire, the millionaire was swept away by the current and drowned.
The young man reached shore and started to lament. "All i wanted was to save him but why did he started to offer me money..."
The moral of the story? When desire and passion is weight against money, it has loss all its value.
