Is it dangerous to visit Thailand, now that they want our money ......and perhaps our blood?
Why go there when they suspect we tap their phone lines and compromise their security?
Demonstrations almost daily at our embassy........They really hate us...... -
For a while only la. Their government is making noise. So their ppl follow suit. When government quiet, ppl also will quiet.
But of cos.. hopefully it wont last long...ive yet to go bangkok...

btw, it's Temasek Holdings, it's the politicians, it's the asswipes that are in power... NOT the people..

Actually I planned a trip in march, but guess I'll put it off for now.

Don't think it's that safe to visit Thailand for the moment, especially after they impose marshall law, the punishment for crimes under marshall law is much harsher. Then there's the Sand Ban, from Idonesia.
Then we got the Heavy Vehicle Re-routing at the Causeway stipulated by Malaysia
... I just hope Thailand doesn't suddenly decides to not sell us rice!
That will make things really complete... -

I remembered last year I booked my trip already, then 3 weeks later the coup came about. I think the coup Generals are trying to create trouble for Singapore so that the attention of the people would be diverted from the Muslim war in the South.
Better to whack Singapore so the simple folk can forget about the daily killings in Pattani, Narathiwat and Yala in the south -

Anyway the airport is a project by Mr. Thaksin, the very person wanted for corruption in Thailand. He was accused of corruption involving the airport. The very man that forumers are defending.
The level of corruption had reached a point whereby people cannot turn a blind eye to it anymore.
