PAP shamelessly accept bribe infront of the public?

Look at thier sky high pay, even US president is not thier match. What kind of big deeds have they done to receive such a huge amount? Don't the excuse given by LKY sound very absurb? Those who shamelessly accept the pay are not worthy to represent Singapore or fit to be in the paliament. Those who seek power are not worthy of that power.

Actually their pay is considered peanuts compared to the CEOs of companies that failed to perform and stepped down with Golden Parachutes.
They are building their own Diamond Parachute.

Please do not compare with CEO, it should be compare with politic. Those who wish to make big money shouldn't be involve in paliament. I don't understand this:
If Durai's $600 Thousand salary package is not acceptable in the "Charity" Sector, why is our minister salary package of $1 Million +++ acceptable as a "Civil" Sector ? ?
Isn't it outrightous ? ? -

Primary aim of any organization is to maximize stakeholders' wealth
SO it is perfectly legal to make as much money as possible....

At the end of the day, we have to ask ourselves this. Are we better off than we were 5 years ago? If we are, it means the government has done a good job.

Well the difference is what you earn in the pivate sector, you earn it yourself. what you earn in the civil service is PAID BY THE PEOPLE.
if they cant accept that fact, then bloody step down.
