ERP increased again

ERP will increase from 50 cents to $1.50 at East Coast Expressway Fort Road from 7.30am onward. Other gantry includes Central Expressway at Braddell Road
With the increase, the fares will range from $1.50 to $4.
With the increase, will the expressway really rid of congestion? If I have to pass the gantry, I will pass regardless of the cost.

ERP is not introduced to solve road problems.
it is for generating badly needed money, money for overseas investments, overseas investments that will in turn generate more money 'TO GIVE SINGAPOREANS A BETTER LIFE"!!!

ECP speed limit should be increase from 70 & 80 (near the camera) to 90.
All the cars are forced to slow down & that causes congestion.
If they do this, then no need to increase ERP. -

Why is there a need for governance?
We came up with suggestions like the people need to be led, the citizens fear change more than the stability they already had, a sense of unity under a governing body to protect themselves from neighbouring nations, etc, etc...
But in the end, is there REALLY a need for a governance? -

They appear to be building a new viaduct at the Mount Alvernia Hospi, linking the current overhead viaduct. But at the interface, it would seem to be converging traffic from the main road, side filter from teh reservoir and the new adjoining viaduct...which means another JAM is being subtly created by INADEQUATE planning, which in turns mean another potential ERP GANTRY will be placed = another bumper collection for the govt.
Where's the deep planning into this? Not only is money the main motivator to join the civil service, money collection is now the sole solution to solve any and all problems?
Have we become another 'money talks' govt, without the intellectual capacity to re-invent new ideas? -
