After years to travelling, short stays overseas, Singapore is my home no question.
My friends and relatives are here, my children enjoyed overseas but always glad to come back. There are many things I like in other countries, but here is where I feel the warmth, not just the weather.
I am a Singaporean, and will live here regardless of the FT, the small space, the authoritative government, the many foreigners especially tourists around us, the fear of high costs of living, especially medical fee, .......
I am a Singaporean, no IF.![]()
I would love to return to live in Singapore provided I could have a nice comfortable lifestyle with a place I own and my experience valued. Most unfortunately ,that is not a possiblity for me with current government policies. I don't want to be slogging all the time worrying about bills. I want to live!Originally posted by sgdiehard:Now back at home in singapore.

You can own the place you live, wherever you are. Your experience is valued only by the company you work for, wherever you are. You have to pay your bills, wherever you are. A house is not a home, no matter how big and spacious, a car is but a mean of transportation, it is a toy if you like car as a hobby. Some hobbies are more expensive than others, wherever you are.Originally posted by fymk:I would love to return to live in Singapore provided I could have a nice comfortable lifestyle with a place I own and my experience valued.
