Living in Seoul, S.Korea now.
We'd like to come back to Singapore now, but there are no jobs in my field.
Maybe one day the market will pickup, allowing us to move back to SG, but it doesn't look like it will happen anytime soon. So we're just visiting whenever we have a chance. -

I've told my friends about S'pore. This is a great country to live in. You can see police man patroling around the street at night. Its so safe living here.

If wanna visit, visit during winter and during Dubai Sale Festival.. I don't know what's so nice abt this place..

I am living and working in California with my wife.
We are here for about 18 months. We are taking it one step at a time. We don't miss Singapore as much as we thought we would.
But things are expensive here, so it might not be good to stay long term.
in about one year's time, we will review again and see how things go. My field is quite specialized and I might not be as valued in Singapore as I am here. -
I'm living in SG but I have plans to migrate in the very near future with my family. My mom's side of the family are already citizens in various other countries, so I guess our migration plans are sort of belated.
We're still discussing over which country we should aim for.
I missed Singapore while living abroad.. of course, I grew up here. I don't regret being born here.. it will always be a special place with charming heartlanders to me (ruined only by the terrible, corrupted minds of society's upper crust).
But despite my old fondness of certain people and foods, I would rather live elsewhere because Singapore, as a country on a whole, lacks that depth I have grown to crave in life. Its natural growth and maturity has not been allowed to take place while under the smelly Power Of One (smelly POO). I've travelled far and wide since a very young age.. my best childhood memories took place in many different countries and so I feel my heart is with the world, with my loved ones. I feel like... a citizen of Earth.
Not surprised. Apparently there is a common perception among the locals that Asian girls have all got a price tag... like prostitutes. Most men in business would have trouble taking an Asian girl seriously, plus they are used to having their women subservient. Basically they tend to automatically dislike, and react poorly to, any woman who tries to conduct business with them, or get them to do something.
They tell me the problem is even worse in Saudi Arabia.... "NEVER step foot in there without a reliable male chaperone" they say. -
