Singapore is a unique country. Do you feel that the newly invented positions of minister mentor and senior minister is telling us that position of Prime Minister or prime minister is dumb and incapable to take care our country? Should government abolish the positions if found that the positions are unnecessary?

they need a few of them.. 1st Minister of Finance, 2nd Minister of Finance..
and there are a few Ministers of State (what the hell is a "Minister of State" what state? the state of rest? "

Maybe suggest something like, " No one with ministrial post should have more than 1 position in the govt. He/She can NOT held other managerial position in any organization"

So as long as the ruling party governs in the interest of Singaporeans, for Singaporeans, they can create as many portfolios as they want, it does not matter.

strange that in Singapore, where people rant and rage about "having a choice", and when someone makes a choice which is not theirs, they will condemn the person
i choose NOT to have a person who is a clown representing my ward.. i choose NOT to have a person who doesn't have a clue being part of the parliament... i choose NOT to vote for an incumbent who has done nothing and said nothing for years and years and turns up only during the elections...
so, it is a third path i choose...
just because i choose to reject the idiots in power, doesn't mean i have to support another lot of idiots...

i rather have a bunch of idiots who think of the people's interest and oppose the ruling party who only think of increasing taxes and make life difficult for us.
i have every respect for the oppositions as they are the minority who are against a bunch of bullies and thinking of pple interest. they are being prejudiced as outcast and some of them were out of job because their employers were scared of offending the government. they are definitely not the clowns or incubent.
ur enemy' enemies may not be ur best friends but they will definitely help to stop ur enemy from preceeding according to his own autocratic way.
