why SG PM LHL took RSAF KC-135 Stratotanker to Cebu?
Direct from SG?
Why no private charted plane?
for security reasons for C130 cqn be equipped with anti--missiles defense
One thing is sure ---it is not so comfort as Airbus Corporate Jetliner

What is the opportunity cost of the purchase price RM 200m for the jet?
Lets say it is 5 % return,the interest MY can get is RM 10 million!!
How many trips in first calss Pak Lah can take?
Of course,LHL always take SIA first class in international trip.
Sure it is much cheaper than purchase and maintaining of a private
jet!Maintenance and repair may cost one to two time of purchase
price in the life cycle. -

MY government,leased the jet back to goverment.
So who own the jet?
At the end indirectly by MY goverment!! -
just take KC-135 for once make so much noise! more than half of SQ is also owned by Temasek wat.

thing is...MY airforce also doesnt have a KC135 for doing so...and C130 isnt exactly comfortable...besides...you know how many MAF planes crash already?
KC135 was also used by RSAF to carry balls of previous UN Chief Kofi Annan in Operation Flying Eagle for tsunami crisis of 2004 from Indonesia to Sri Lanka... -

from above i deduce that he is making comparison of the traveling plans of both countries. so i tell him... LHL flies with chartered planes also.... not only military planes... just like his MY counterparts...
also i mention... even then Queen flies on her own air force planes....

the point of this is to show that malaysian PM earn lesser then SPORE PM but incurred other expenses like traveling on expensive plane
so its ok for SPore minister to earn what they earning as they did not have their own plane

even if malaysia has kc135 their pm also prefer expensive plane lah... they may change it to a380 few years down the road..
our airline first to fly a380 and their govt first to fly a380. -
