  They have already step down but why don't they just fade away?
  
  Lee Teng Hui had already stepped down but still making so much noise thinking he still president?
  
  Mahatir had already stepped down from Prime Minister but still making so much noise. think he still welded all the power?

  Its hard to leave politics definitely. They bring up their countries to greater heights.

  They are making noise despite no longer in any position. Don't you think Singapore is more pathetic, we still have some one age 80+ seating at the top not willing to give up power, not willing to stop interfering lives?

  our 80++ is a gem! he is few stateman that the world can produce in recent history! we are lucky to have him! else you may well be 2nd class citizen of some neighbour country
