most HDB upgrades are done in a slip shod manner...
i have seen many recently upgraded wards, with crack tiles in lobby.
Cheapo lifts.
lift landing at Stairs landing (1 lift landing serving 2 floors so you climb just 1/2 flight of stairs)
in the end, you still pay same taxes, your personal HDB stays the same.

Hire cheap contractors who dunno the trade. In the end work i slipshod lah.
Actually the cracked tile syndrome is due to cheap tiles also. -
Who think Singaporeans are stupid? Those got the money will not even stay in Singapore. Some say they are quiters ( or spell as quitters? ) Whose daughter married a ang mo and lived in London???
Some of my colleagues resign and migrate to Australia liao.

Got money to make PAP wards barrier free and summore pump 700Million to upgrade parks (for the birds and bees)..
Cant cant give poor ppl in potong pasir lifts??
They act as if the Government funds = PAP(party) funds.
Makes no sense to me.
