SINGAPORE: Singapore's Foreign Affairs Ministry says it is surprised at what the chief of Thailand's Council for National Security, Sonthi Boonyaratglin, is reported to have said about getting back Thai national assets which have been sold to foreigners.
Responding to media queries, the MFA's spokesperson said Singapore should wait for the Thai government to clarify what those remarks meant. -

One question we should ask is If Thai's general really seize Shin corp without paying any cent, Will you want Ho chin and LHL to step down?

They won't dare to take over upright lah..... other countries will also scare their investment happy happy kena take back...... Thailand also part of WTO, can't happy happy do this & that. Not that gangster yet.
To me, this is more like trying to scare S'pore in selling Shin Corp shares asap.... easy lor, pay at market price, sell you back lah. If not, then try take back with soliders lor..... then stock market crash again and have to backtrack for the world to see.... yet again. -
