  hi all ...i haf just completed my bmt n is being posted to the school of provost to be an MP....i wondering if any lao jiaos here are previously from MP n could tell mi what type of training i ought to be expecting?

  What the exact training you all will undergo...both of you will soon know. Not exactly proper to discuss it openly in forum.
  
  But you are expected to be more independent, and take more responsibility for your actions. Just go in with an open mind. =)

  Don't worry too much about vocation training...it will be be quite unlike BMT but it is where you get to learn more about the army and the different ways it goes about doing its stuff. Just enjoy yourself =) it will be fun.

  Most vocation training are tougher than BMT. But just endure it...cos after all this....relac liao (unless you kena combat vocation..then siao onz all the way)

  SOS is civillian conversion course camp =)

  provost is sort of fuck up... esp the living condition, cant really adapt after my luxurious holiday in tekong, for those who have been to Mp will noe wat i mean. u sleep in a overcrowded room,doubledecker bed, with a thin layer of sponge as yr bed, small rusty lockers, spoilt fans n lights....furthermore the place is 'haunted' n got lots of mosquitos. the sergeants there treat us like kids (worst than recruits) n there is no admin time at all, very discipline! Now then i realise how fortunate the recruits of today are compared to our fathers n uncles.

  Well as you are no longer a recruit, they won't handle you with "kids glove" anymore.
  
  Lights and Fans spoilt? Then do something about it. Complain will lead you nowhere.
  
  Check nicely if it is possible to repair/replace the faulty equipment through the relevant channels.
  
  If not, everyone fork out a bit, and do something about it !! Eg. Buy your own light bulbs !!
  
  You are no longer a recruit, learn to be more independent, and take initative where appropriate.
  
  Learn to look at things in a positive light, life sucks only if you allow it to be. It's all just a state of mind. Many of us had gone through much worse, but came out a better person. =)
