As long as the OP did not spew obsceneities, or stir up racial hatred, I do not understand why he would be banned.Originally posted by saffron60:Great ego does not make him a Great Dictator.[/quote]
I did not think Robertteh said that. Where did you get the idea from?

Anyway, why are you surprised that you have been banned from their site? It's not your website, so of course the discretion will be theirs as to whether they want to ban you or not. You've got your own blog right? So you can also ban commentors that you don't like from commenting on your blog, if you choose not to, then that's your choice. If 'ban' is too strong of a word for you, you can use the word 'moderate', it's the same thing. If you keep on whining about being banned from the site, you just end up looking like sour grapes. I for one am not interested in reading your blog and most of your writing in this forum anyway, i tried to, but some of your post i find too tedious and long to read. Especially since you made the comment about hitler, i'm even more not interested to read your long posts.
May be you have other reasons beside the length of my posts not to bother to read my posts.Originally posted by saffron60:Great ego does not make him a Great Dictator.

Thks for the cameradie spirit. I think you may get a ban too if you want to speak up for my cause. May be they already decided not to admit certain people deemed as "undesirable" at other sites.Originally posted by foomwee88:Sorry Robert,I registered my nick name as PAP Gods was rejected and then PAP Pigs also wont work!!!

You ought to summarise your post. A lenghty post firstly discourage readers to read them and also confuses us to what you may want to express. Actually when i saw your post, especially political issue, i automatically skip them.Originally posted by robertteh:May be you have other reasons beside the length of my posts not to bother to read my posts.

For a public site like youngpap to ban someone like the OP who has opposing views just smacks of
Please don't get too paranoid about what i said. I really think that some of your posts are too long and tedious to read.Originally posted by robertteh:May be you have other reasons beside the length of my posts not to bother to read my posts.

I know of a few forums which do this... and is very irritating when you've done nothing to earn this ban.
I did not understand his post from how you read it. I guess we will leave it as that.Originally posted by saffron60:He did, first he said:
''Quotable quotes from Adolf Hitler. I believe MM Lee has studied some of such techniques of government from him based on some of his past references to this great dictator.''
Then he said:
''Great ego but sadly of a dictator.''
do you know what he wrote in the website? I don't know and i don't care. I just can't stand the whining.
He only understands one thing: "I am scared of what you write because it makes so much sense. Ban!"Originally posted by uluaman:I did not understand his post from how you read it. I guess we will leave it as that.
I did not read what he wrote on the other website, so I cannot comment.
Obviously, you have no such restraints?
You point about my posts being too long has been noted. If you are to read my lengthy posts, you would get to know they contain whole arguments against the system of taxing and recovering fullest possible costs against the people is well established as a fact.Originally posted by saffron60:Please don't get too paranoid about what i said. This is a classic argument that only works if you have a FOIA Act in Singapore.Originally posted by blueheeler:Aiyo, was I not obvious enough? For whatever the PAP has done, they have kept their plates clean, so much so that finding dirt on them would be impossible. Therefore, I was challenging Robert Teh to use his 'truths' about the PAP - IF his truths are indeed 'true' - against them in a court of law. But sadly, I'm sure Robert Teh's truths are mostly hearsay tidbits that you and I can talk about in this forum, but can't stand the scrutiny in a court of law.

I don't get what you mean by 'restraints'. I did not comment on the contents of his posts at the website, all i said was 'i don't know and i don't care', which is the truth. So why are you saying that i have no retraints?Originally posted by uluaman:I did not understand his post from how you read it. I guess we will leave it as that.

Actually to them, you might be just another noisy mosquito buzzing around their ear. Whether you speak the truth or not, they would know. anyway, that might not be the reason why they ban you. First of all, the website belongs to them, they can ban anyone based on whatever reason reason they concoct, whether it makes sense to us or not, it doesn't matter. Not too long ago, I was banned from commenting on a popular blogger's comment box, from his reaction, i can see that he did it because of his own insecurities and that he was being very protective of his blog. But i did not go to any forum to complain about him, he is quite well known i could have easily done that but i didn't.Originally posted by robertteh:You point about my posts being too long has been noted. The government is afraid of this truth so I was banned from its youngpap site, as simple as that.

We all are interested to know that he was banned and we are very angry that he was banned because he is well regarded here and we have yet to see him write any nonsense even though he is a bit chiong hei sometimes.Originally posted by saffron60:Actually to them, you might be just another noisy mosquito buzzing around their ear. Instead of complaining about being banned, why don't you do something more useful about it, like set up your own website or write in the opposition's website/blog. I think you need to come down to earth and accept that this is one of the 'rules' of the internet, you may get banned from any website for any reason. the sooner you realize it, the better it is for you.
