What happens if Indonesian Nuclear plant leaks?

ANU (austalian national University) did a study on what would happen if the Indonesian proposed nuclear station were to leak........

No problem to them. They have had sectarian voilence, natural disasters, terrorist attacks, economic crisis, epidemic outbreaks, one after another.
So what's a nuclear disaster.
The international community is always ready to help this struggling third world country cope with any eventualities.
Singapore' Civil Defence will send its HazMat Team to decontaminate and contain the leak. -
The nuclear plants in Japan also leaked. Not to mention 3 mile island in the US and Chernobyl in Russia. Did we all die or turn into mutants? Don't forget all the nuclear tests that were conducted many years ago by US, Russia, China, France and India.

Dun worry, if they successfully built a nuclear plant, and if that nuclear plant leaks, then Singapore will have no milk to drink liao. Because the soil of the country, that have the same number of cows as the population of Singapore, will be contanmenated, so we dun have milk lor.

in that case, it will be inevitable that singapore, malaysia, thailand and australia, all the countries which will be affected and have some form of strike capabilities will launch a pre-emptive strike on indonesian assets

Indonesia is not mature enough to build nuclear power plants. Own internal affairs cannot settle, still want to dream big, bloody hell. Then the leaders extremely narrow minded & childish, ban sand export to S'pore because of some small disagreements. Singapore helped Indonesia countless times, then don't know how to repay debt of gratitude. Even lowly creatures know enough to repay a debt of gratitude, the wild goose will carry out its filial duty to the mother bird when she's about to die. I say ah, the leaders of Indonesia are worse than the wild goose. Better know the limits man, learn how to walk 1st before trying to fly. 1st time running marathon then already want to compete at the Olympics. Dream on lah, bloody hell. Better dun build the nuclear power plants, if not will cause trouble for everybody.

Let me think Chernobyl .....OH BOY ......
The Chernobyl incident has leaked to as far as parts of northern Europe . If it did explode in a windy condition and if it is on sumatra - Singapore will become radiation wonderland. No amount of HazMat will help. Water contamination and soil contamination is inevitable because it flows through parts of Johor as well.
Australia would probably be irradiated in parts of northern WA and parts of NT. Southeastern states will be spared - which is their financial center.
You will still have Australian and New Zealand milk to drink but whether the radiation allows your body to drink it is a different story. -
They can't stop the damn mud from leaking out of the ground.
They realy lack foresight. To build the nuclear plant is easy. To keep it running safely and to maintain it at that safety level for years on end is the difficult part. It is not easy to dispose of nuclear waste.
Maybe they can use the Geiger counter to root out corrupt officials. -

Maybe when that happens rubber suits and lead walls in construction will become compulsory in Singapore. Shouldn't be much of a problem, since we're all fearing for our own lives anyway. -
