TS posting distasteful pictures.. -
actually who decides what is disrespectful or not.
In my view, ST has the duty to decide if the photos they are about to publish will be accepted by the general public under the current norms.
As far as i am concerned, the photos will not break any laws.
just that, i find it quite surprising that ST decided to publish these photos as they do not normally publish photos of corpses.
Anyway, just because we normally have access to ST... but newspaper in other countries have publish more gruesome pictures like the corpse after a bad fall or burnt, etc. -

other countries, bcos they need to sell papers to survive, may resort to sensationalism. also, it depends on the target audience. ST is privileged and target the masses, so the intention is questionable.
in sgp, every pic destined for the ST is probably vetted. try publish a picture showing the wrong side of LKY....(will nvr happen)

or from SMRT.
Some one sneaked into SMRT property and make a copy of the clip.
or hacked into SMRT computers from outside SMRT property . -
