Would you choose to die in Singapore or overseas?

Suppose you have migrated to another country and you are critically ill. Would you want to fly back to Singapore and see your old friends and family for one last time before you die?

i'm intending to have my ashes launched into space, thus no point returning to singapore.

I will fly back to look at my two angels..dad and mum,as long as they are by my side..dieing overseas is alright for me or else I will surely return to sg to look at them or I wont rest in peace..even if it is their grave..I will look

I know of someone who have been living in UK for the past 20 years and he had chosen to fly back to Singapore to die.

I would choose to fly back to see my loved ones or relatives one last time but I will never want to die in Sillypore...It's just to risky. You do not know what they will want to do to your remains even after cremation due to the ever constant land constraints...
Since I have migrated, I'd rather embrace my new land lay myself to rest in my new land....besides its just death, more important issues are your own salvation and where we go after death...not where we die...certainly not Sillypore..... -
i'm environmentally conscious..
therefore, i'd like to kick it in singapore...
they'll drain every drop of blood out of you just before you shuffle off the mortal coil.. then after that, they'll render the dry and dessicated body for nitrates and phosphates

What is there to contradict silly Gazelle...I love my relatives but not Sillypore....Suppose I have a terminal illness and have months to live, I'd come back to see my loved ones and then go back to my new land to die...
Simple as that.....where you after you die is more important...but surely choosing where you want to die is not difficult....

no, not in sgp.
when i am 65, hopefully i have a few more years left in me even after that, i will move to malaysia, hopefully penang where i can eat myself to death (slowly)....
i will also indulge in all vices, pick up smoking (again), go to haadyai as often as i can, pick up thai [both the language and the lonely chicks who would like to do an anna nicole smith (albeit w a not so rich one)], smoke some pot if it's still `in' and break the law once in a while.
i will fly all my loved ones to penang for my simple funeral, filled with music i grew up with. i will ask them to hip hop for me so it i will remember the post-65 generation.
i will instruct that my ashes we filled into small capsules for my children and loved ones so they will have something to remember me by. the rest of my ashes shud just be dumped into the dump.
lastly, prior to my last moments, i will place a 1/4 page advertisement in the ST for a certain janie and tells her tt things wld have been very different if we were together in the first place
....perhaps in our next life .... -
think of how u are going to make the best of ur life first.

My ashes will not make a different to the land area of Singapore, so whether I die here or oversea it does not make a difference, but one thing is for sure- that I will not turn in my grave even if PAP ministers were to plunder all the Singapore reserves!
