Malaysia wants the Causeway demolish is because it obstructed the sea route from the Johor Port (I forgot the name) to East Asia. If a crooked bridge is built, the ships below will have their freeway WITHOUT the need to bypass Singapore.
So Singapore is looking for new industries to replace the loss from Sea trading, then we will seriously consider the demolish of Causeway. But since we haven't succeed in finding one, the Causeway stays.
