they all think china is trying to invade them...
they never get the fact rite in the first place...

n if usa nv help taiwan. maybe prc may hve taken taiwan back. n the young pples of taiwan will not get brainwash to think their enemy is china...signz...wats the pt of chinese vs chinese....same roots in the first place....taiwan pples most come frm the fujian provice.
well, since taiwan hve self rule for many years n china is not dat stubborn too.
dats y its come with the 2 system rule....
to me . there will not hve much effect on the commoners of taiwan. they will be more or less the same. just dat maybe the president got to change title to province leader.
infact its taiwan dat is stubborn. y cant they reunified with china just like hk n macua..... one country 2 system is still acceptable.....
the commoners reunified with china will hve more advantages den disavantage. when china is becomming more stronger n hve big market rate.
n taiwan will not hve to spend so much money to buy weapon frm usa. the money can be use to spend on other more meaningful area. the area will be more secure.

Procurement of arms is a form of defence strategy, not necessary going to WAR. because Taiwan is a small island just like Sing. In order to defence against Giant PRC. Its armenment has to bring about a strategic balance and upgrade to maintain a strategic balance of its military against PRC.
Why the US is involved partly is to maintain status quo in Asia rather than till the balance.
Remember a War in Asia does the US no good as its trade depend heavily from China . -

i think that will be true if the military sales are weapon such as old plane, shipped etc.. but these are ammo. Smart weapon...etc. again what was written vs what was send maybe different so it could be a black project
