From the way you put it, u already feel its unacceptable. My opinion is, the usage of profanities has proliferated to a point that its common to hear them in everyday life. At first, people didn't tolerate it, now they just can't be bothered cos people just keep using them anyway. How did it all start? Through Media, as most western movies have no qualms in using such words. As people see them, they find the usage of profanities to a point that its "No big deal." When understress, in Singapore's high stress enviroment, most people just simply de-stress by employing massive amounts of "fucks", "shit-head" and "bitches." If it makes them feel better, then theres really not much we can do about it.Originally posted by michelle^_^:Hi everyone... Greengoblin, you should be fuckin ashamed of yourself, copyin peoples creations without acknowledging it. I've seen this before, and the fact that you can post it here word for word, shows that u've seen the site recently too.Originally posted by greengoblin:Perhaps of the most interesting and colorful words in the
English language today is the word "FUCK." It is a
magical word that just by its sound can describe pain, pleasure,
love, and hate. In language, "fuck" falls into many
grammatical categories. It can be used as a verb, both transitive
(John fucked Mary) and intransitive (Mary was fucked by John). It
can be an active verb (John really gives a fuck), or a passive
verb (Mary really doesn't give a fuck), or it can be an adverb
(Mary is really fucking interested in John), a noun (Mary is a
terrific fuck), or an adjective (Mary is fucking beautiful). As
you see, there are few words with the versatility of
"FUCK."
Besides its sexual connotations, this incredible word can be
used to describe many situations:
Greetings: "How the fuck are you?"
Fraud: "I got fucked by the car dealer."
Dismay: "Oh, fuck it!"
Trouble: "Well, I guess I'm fucked now."
Aggression: "Fuck you!"
Disgust: "Fuck me!"
Confusion: "What the fuck...?"
Difficulty: "I don't get this fucking business."
Despair: "Fucked again." I
ncompetence: "He fucks everything up."
Displeasure: "What the fuck is going on here?"
Lost: "Where the fuck are we?"
Disbelief: "Unfuckingbelievable!"
Retaliation: "Up your fucking ass."
It can be used in an anatomical description: "He's a fucking asshole."
It can be used to tell time: "It's five fucking thirty."
It can be used in business: "How did I wind up with this fucking job?"
It can be maternal: "Motherfucker."
It can be political: "Fuck tip O'Neill."
And never forget General Custer's last words: "Where did
all these fucking Indians come from?"
Also, the famous last
words of the mayor of Hiroshima: "What the fuck was
that?"
And last but not least, the immortal words of the
captain of the Titanic: "Where is all this fucking water
coming from?"
The mind fairly boggles at the many creative uses of the
word. How can anyone be offended when you say fuck? I'm sure you can think of many more examples, with all of these multipurpose applications how can anyone be offended when you
use the word ? We say, use this unique flexible word more often in your daily speech. It will identify the quality of your character immediately.
Say it loudly and proudly : "FUCK YOU !!!"
No offense taken hor I hopeOriginally posted by Shotgun:greengoblin u CB!!! Copy my forum siggY! LOL
