Instead of outlining a concrete long-term strategy to bridge the income gap of the lower and middle income classes, they choose to bridge the gap between theirs and the rich.
I was overseas when I heard this news from a friend and my immediate reaction was that of disappointment. Sometimes, I feel ashamed to have this govt running this fine nation. -
amusing indeed but nevertheless very true...unfortunately it's a lost cause, the powers that be cannot see it the way we commoners do....integrity is from the heart, not what's into the wallet....the inference here is that they admit they are dishonest but to prevent that from showing up, they need to suppress it with more money.....when the chips are down, please don't count on me, they can go fight it on their own, why should i even bother to sacrifice myself when i get nothing out of it....

We need more of such dry humour, if only to spoof our government's ridiculous policies at times. A simplified dialogue like this is surely the clearest way to cutting through our govt's gloss talk.
