Stop kpkb and move on...
Not happy can like migrate...
GCT has called people who were disgruntled with wrongful government policies like the ministerial self-reward schemes and migrated as quitters forgetting that his own children and the children of some other ministers were quitters too.Originally posted by soulwinner:I know not all govt plan are good but do you a better plan?

As much as your intentions are admirable and me standing on the same side with you, IMHO, i believe the gahment can NEVER be thrown out of power byOriginally posted by allentyb:thank you for taking the time to type out this poem
but i like to remind you, that what has been mentioned in that poem
its a known fact, that PAP is just another self righteous piece of s h i t government
what we like to hear, is constructive advice, like how are we able to win PAP in the next election
since there are so many citizens are feeling treated like a second class citizen
don't you think we shall unite together and vote for the opposition, and throw PAP out of power?
Like I've said, the only way to get their friggin attention, is to; STOP ROWING THEIR FRIGGIN DRAGON BOAT!Originally posted by forumer84:As much as your intentions are admirable and me standing on the same side with you, IMHO, i believe the gahment can NEVER be thrown out of power by
ELECTIONS.You read that right. NEVER.No way thru THEIR elections. Even if the actual results show that the majority vote opposition. Think abt it.
They noe abt these issues now and hv ample time till the next elections to tweak the playing field to their advantage. Example, the whole of AMK and Jurong East no need to vote, considered under PAP. Wat can YOU do abt it? Nothing. Zilch.
Actually. I never did say we should throw them out of power. After all, the old guard had done an excellent job for Singapore.Originally posted by forumer84:As much as your intentions are admirable and me standing on the same side with you, IMHO, i believe the gahment can NEVER be thrown out of power by

In theory, 1-2 GRCs is enough to give the opposition the power to demand that they have the books open. However, they will also going to need help. Contrary to popular opinion, our parliament is barely civil, but filled with veiled insults. Just reading a transcript over at Yawning Bread made me boil.Originally posted by soul_rage:Actually. What I think, and I believe my dear Singaporeans can do it, is to give 1 GRC to the opposition.
Like that, ONE MINISTER (with his high pay), loses his post, together with a bunch of useless young PAP elites. (Hey, I don't mind its LHL losing his post)
That should do it.
Then PAP will start LISTENING, instead of currently, PRETENDING to listen.
The PAP may possibly abandon the concept of a GRC the moment they lose one, or further strengthening it by having 10-man GRCs.Originally posted by Fingolfin_Noldor:In theory, 1-2 GRCs is enough to give the opposition the power to demand that they have the books open. ST has been doing the Govt a favour by not showing the full transcripts of the debates.
Well, we can hope... but I am of the opinion that the most probable case scenario is an open revolt but well, that is unlikely to happen. But PAP has been known to misread the ground before.Originally posted by soul_rage:The PAP may possibly abandon the concept of a GRC the moment they lose one, or further strengthening it by having 10-man GRCs.
I have read some comments made in parliament when an opposition asks question. I sense contempt when the PAP answers these questions, often seeming to ridicule the opposition. And what does those useless PAP MPs do? Just do cheerleading.
But I really relish the day a useless minister gets voted out, and loses his high paying low risk job. Then let's see what sort of job can he get out there in the private sector. Also, I would be really happy to see those useless PAP MPs get voted out as well.
