MM Lee said that by paying our Ministers million dollar salaries, they can attract candidates with better attributes and less corrupt that would help Singapore grow and maintain it's first world country.
Does this mean that if Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and Thailand start paying their ministers multi million dollar salaries, they will all end up with per capita GDP of USD 30,000 and an uncorrupt administrative system?
If this is so, I think Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and Thailand start paying all their ministers salaries like Singapore's.
