Benchmarking salaries and everything...
Given tt Ministers desires and wants have been satisfied:
We should bench mark
1: Care for poor eg dialysis patients. Give better gov subsidies then the latest peanut(3/07revision): $200- 300/mth (Per Capita Family Income Level $700/mth to qualify) - [
http://www.moh.gov.sg/corp/about/newsroom/pressreleases/details.do?id=44400642] yet dialysis costs $1,911/ mth at NKF (1/07 update)- [
http://www.nkfs.org/subsidies.php] isn't there a min quality of life benchmark that the gov might use? Instead of the bull shit "many hands approach, gov should lead with the safety net benchmark whilst VWOs manage finer details (NOT like old NKF that once spent only 10% collections on dialysis), otherwise, SGporeans will die/ be demoralized... Can NKF disclose its subisdy criteria, benchmarks for subsidy? Aust gov is able to subsidise >A$57K/yr [
http://www.health.vic.gov.au/renaldialysis/funding.htm#table1] so if my gross inspection is correct, then our 1st class govt might have to learn something about compassion/ leadership from our neighbour.
2: Justice in SG elections: 75.2% of SG ppl are chinese (2006): so to ensure 25% minority rep in Parl: have 20 GRCs of 3 ppl each (one must be non Chinese), 21 Single seat constituencies: NO MORE nonsense 6 person GRCs that allow PAP monopoly power!
3: ... wait for Teo CH further speeches about long term salary plans... KPIs ?
Staying together, Moving ahead; sacrificing some along the way.
"Most people who stop kidney dialysis die within a few weeks. "-

Aust: transparency in funding guidelines:

The financing philosophy of Singapore's healthcare delivery system ... Government subsidies help to keep basic healthcare affordable. So if only basic health care is afordable, then ministers should only expect 'basic' salaries!
Ps
Snooty is upset today...
