Pls understand everyone, that we DO NOT lose to any of the FTs, more often than not, its a psychological barrier.
I understand that after I left that Singapore company. Our value is much higher than what our govt claims, so pls don't be tied down by the lies that has been circulating us.
Do not accept low pay (if you can), coz it is only beneficial to those people up there, but is NEVER beneficial to you -
I don't think the low self-esteem is the root issue - the problem stems more from the fact that many out there, especially those who are not that well-educated, do not know the truth besides the specious propaganda they're fed with. I think it says a lot that so many folks out there who make a honest, decent living can't afford to pay for some of the bare necessities - healthcare and their children's education being among these issues. Just think about it : would you rather be stuck in a place where you worry about not being able to pay for your children's education at NUS or would you rather be in a position to put your child through Harvard if he had the ability? This isn't rocket science... -

Some would argue that this is how the world functions. I mean, the rich are getting richer, the poor poorer, the income gap between the rich and the poor are widening with every passing day. That's how it is and will always be, we have to be realistic and accept that it is in our nature to outdo and outperform our fellow men, that it is entrenched in our genetic pre-dispositions, and is part and parcel of our evolutionary cycle. Is it so? Or are we made to think so? Hence, are 'quitters' 'quitting' as part of this cycle that they are falling broadwards as they cannot measure up to the demands of society? Or prehaps they have the means to do so to escape the cycle... the average quitter isn't exactly less well to do then your average Singaporean.
