the ASTRO 2 MRLS isnt really that powerful for your info... yes it got great range and probably comes with submunitions... but its inaccurate and limited in numbers....
many of SAF assets have already gone underground.. including the command base, air force hanger, navy depot and many many other military storage facility... those MRLS isnt gonna be effective against underground targets....
Why do you think we are spending so much more on Intel and Recon assets. UAVs and so on.
I say we take out those MLRS or overrun them with ground forces before the MLRS can deploy and fire. -

this is because... such attacks against us would simply motivate singaporeans to hit back united as one...
as you all know... singapore HDB flats are occupied proportional according to various races... if one HDB flat goes tumbling... all races will be affected... even some malaysians might be hit too... as many live in HDB flats too...
secondly.. present days all HDB flats are equipped with HS... so....
submunitions MRLS rockets are not gonna be useful at all against HDB flats... -

But the fact about HDB flats occupied proportional to racial mix raises a very interesting angle. . . reduces the chance of them utilising race or religion as motivation and reason for fighting. -
as is well known... singapore is highly compact.. and many things are built close to each other...
I wonder... how well will muslims around the world see malaysia if those precious MRLS end up killing muslims in their prayers at the mosque?? or hit a hospital?? maybe even a church or a temple?? or an old folks home??
