"worry".now MY got MLRS i said we should get more maverick missiles,hydra rockets,Hellfire 2 or maybe additional Apache
Best to get US MLRS.BOM! it before any missiles can be launch........

Malaysia is big, but its forces are thinly spread throughout the peninsula. Singapore is small, but that also means Singapore's forces are much more concentrated than Malaysia's. A country's size is not relevant to its military might. In the scenario of war with Malaysia, It is a known fact that Singapore forced WILL attack INTO Johor. Instead of holding the borders, Singapore will bring the fight into Malaysia. To answer you crudely, Singapore may not lose much to Malaysia in terms of land space, in fact in the period of war, Johor will be Singapore occupied. I know last time.... long long time ago... soldiers march from one battlefield to another..... but even then... napolean still managed to march his army all the way to moscow from france!!!!
Nowadays.... we got vehicles and planes...... its very different lor.....
Once we crush the MAF at Johor... getting to KL is a mere 6 hour rid.... the SAF troopers can even reach kedah if need be by parachute or helidrop within the same time.....
That is y ... the former malaysian general in charge of military intelligience warned malaysians recently...
THAT if need be......
Singapore SAF can occupy the entire peninsula in 24 hours!!!! -
being frank...the only weapon that the malaysians aqquired that fears mi....is the brazilian MLRS and the scorpene submarine......wat do u think the spore government will react or (gentlely say) response to such aqquirings??Note that the MLRS is known to be a grid square remover.........and the scorpene is hell of a ssk.......

continue from my reply..........i know the Sg mindef had aqquired 20 AH-64D LongBow...however will it be useful if the northers will wack out our airbase in surprise (the missile 90 km leh).........must we bulid one in Pulau Sudong to prevent this from happening..........wat will happen if we are caught with our pants down(surprise lah).......(the US master their art of MLRS through surprise in the gulf war)..........even if we did sent our LongBows to take out those MLRS......will in the useful as surely i bet the northers will protect it with tons of AA blankets........can we......defeat agaisnt those flying giant sabot.....for the technology that is available to us hor....it is little bit impossible to win ..unless we strike them first.....(be the blame of the war).....wats ur opinion?

I not scared if they attack... in fact... its more troublesome if they dont attack our ships!! because then... we will have to be constantly under stress.... puke...maybe we can put up a bait and fish for them
MRLS??? if i am the general... i am not even gonna waste my time on them... let them shoot... blow up our airbase lah... we got so many alternative runways and our planes are all underground... at most i let my pilot play poker while the malaysian fire their MRLS... once they finish their rockets... their resupply base is all the way across the pacific ocean... muahahaaa........

Since when can rockets take out an entire underground base???
and the more they divide their firepower over all our bases... the better.. cos in the end when they no more rocket... most of our bases would still be intact due to insufficient damage.... -

To fight a war, you need to mobilise resources and move your forces around. This will not go un-noticed. Camps are meant for peacetime housing and administration. On a war footing, we will be long deployed in the field already. Which idiot will sit in the camp, and wait for you to bomb?
MLRS operate in "fire and run mode". After launching their payload, they run like mad...hopefully nobody attacks them before they reach safety and reload.
Damage is localised to an area, and it is not guarranteed that they strike the desired target. Also it will only give us the justification needed to neutralise the threat. How we define that is another matter.
Attack Malaysia...where got time? Busy with my work until bo eng oredi. Dunno which side of the causeway's politicians and press keep beating the war drum, and threaten to cut the water pipe everytime. -

MRLS fire in salvo means there are rest period in between and that not all targets are hit at the same time... leaving some vital installation intact and others probably lightly molested... during these times we can launch counter attack like bomb their capital.. burn their plantation... smash their airport.. disperse our units, activate backup plan and lots of other things... in fact.. our counter attack would proved:::::
to singaporeans.. that singapore still has the ability to strike back despite being hit by MRLS, that we have already factored in their MRLS attack in advance during peace time... and now.. its show time!!...
To malaysians... their faith in their MAF and their lovely MRLS shattered as RSAF planes took to the skys, fly over their head and gave KL a good dose of reality in FIRE..... -

Something to share about the Astros II MLRS -
these systems leave a huge backblast signature when fired. Using satellites, these vehicles can be spotted. For the maximum 90KM range specified, the Astros II can fire only 4 rockets (SS80 300mm)per launcher, at a time. Accuracy isn't that great at that range as well.
Other available rockets for the Astros II - SS30 127mm 30Km Max 32 per launcher, SS40 180mm 35Km Max 16 per launcher, SS60 300mm 60Km Max 4 per launcher.
Malaysia has 18 launch vehicles. -
