Why water from the sewage why not salt water (REPLY)

for some reason i cannot reply to the old thread... so i will place my replies here....
The Newater plant can effectively filter water from many sources.. such as river water, mountain water, well water and even salt (yes, seawater) water as well....
The Nanofiltration method was not developed initially for water production... it was actually designed for use in the pharmaceutical (drug manufacturing) industries for the production of antibiotics and many other OTC and control drugs... as there is a very stringent requirement for purity... so that sick patient taking drug dont end up kaput on the hospital floor....
And no... how can we run out of sewage water??? unless singaporeans dont eat, drink, shit and clean themselves... or there is no human being in singapore....
Secondly... the Newater just merely help to top up... or make up for the difference in water shortage which cannot be provided by the rain... so... you dont really drink Pure Newater... you drink a mix of Newater plus reservior water (yuck!) because many kuku singaporeans got a pyschological barrier to drinking the ultra pure Newater because its origin is sewage water... (stupid)
The idea that the filter also remove the other minerals is just merely an additional excuse by the govt to prove how clean the water is to the public only.... the fact is.. you dont get your iron from your water supply... your body gets the iron it needs from the food you eat... like fish, beef, mutton and even the vegetables... but they need a good reason why they put the Newater (which is so pure) back into the dirty reserviour water... so come this stupid excuse...the alternative is to tell the singaporean... THAT THEY ARE STUPID OR DONT KNOW ENOUGH AND SHOULD ACCEPT THE GOVT JUDGEMENT!!!
DO you think the singaporeans... will take that kind of answer even if that is the truth???
BUT Lan Lan... the govt knows.. it needs to speak the mass mundane language of the public... so ... you get 'clean answers' from govt... which sound very funny to us... people who knew the truth....
BUT er.... we understand the govt's difficulties.....
