The Ruling Party has already 82 seats out of 84 in the Singapore Parliament. What have PAP having 82 seats got to do with exclusion or inclusion of CSJ
Why do you want to reduce your options by ONE with the exclusion of CSJ ?

I rather PAP have all the seats than have CSJ takin 1
This is not about how many seat the PAP have..... it about good opp in parliament
last thing i want is CSJ accusing Govt of something and can't backup his claim..... again.....
Dr Toh once said '“In this last term, I hope I will be of public service and not a wallflower in the chamber of parliament of a dumb cow.”
“I would say the generation of the ‘50s and ‘60s took the plunge into politics without ever calculating the costs of the risk and the benefits to be gained. They were driven by ideology. Today’s generation has no culture and averse to taking political risk. Really, an interest in politics is very necessary for the future. But I cannot blame the present generations, because they see the heavy-handed response by the government to dissenting views, even though they know that these matters involve their daily lives.
So the result is that we have produced a younger generation who are meek and therefore very calculating. They are less independent-thinking and lack in initiative. It does not bode well for the emergence of future leaders in politics and business. Robots and computers can be programmed or if you like, can be trained. But the trouble, of course, is that computers lack soul and what we need in Singapore is soul. Because it is soul that makes society.”
How would you know if CSJ has not learn from all his battles with the Singapore Government ?Again the same question could be asked of you..... 'Are u sure he had learned'. Are u saying that just because of his inabitily to gain 'administrative support'.... that i should 'close one eye'
It is all about the administrative support that CSJ and the other Alternative Parties must organise themselves to have a Research Team that provide the important substantiated information.
How many times have you made major errors in your Life up till now, and how many opportunities have been given to you to regain your self-worth ?
Even now that the PAP has all the 82 seats in Parliament, and with some of the PAP Back Benchers playing the role of the Devil's Advocate in representing the Alternative Singaporean Views - are they representative of your desired 'good opp in parliament' ?
Even the other two seats held by Low Thia Kiang and Chiam See Tong, Singaporeans have seen effective debate contribution only from WP Low, and also from NMP Sylvia Lim.
Chiam is practically warming his seat and has not been effective in debating on any issues due to his poor backup support in a professional Research Team.
Chiam could have served like the retired PAP Chairman Dr Toh Chin Chye, who left the Cabinet and played the role of a Back Bencher to the fullest, unlike the present crop of 82 MPs.

I want people i could depend to make statments in the govt that makes sense.... not anyhow shot his/her mouth Off without being able to support his/her claim.
When CSJ makes an error, he pays for the error from his pocket.
I error plenty...... i admit. But it seems to me that it is OK for CSJ to error as many times as he like.... but Govt can't error at all. One Shin Crop and everyone start saying people should stepdown.... yet CSJ can't even backup his 'Billion dollars to Indoneasia' claim and thats is OK![]()
This my friend.... is Hypocrisy

People i support can make mistake.... others cannot.

Any kopitiam uncles would have spoken better than the 'mild mannered White woolly Sheep' that occupy the 82 seats in our 84 seat Parliament.
No, they don't...... more could be done..... BY OPP that could support their claims.... not just could 'Complaint'...... any uncle at the kopi shop could complaint..... could they be MPs ??
That is where you views are all scr*wed up.
1st things 1st..... i don't know who these "Professional Research Team" are.......... But since they were not elected by anyone.... their support of Chaim or not is unimportant to me. Chaim only need the support of his supporter at Potong Pasir..... not a brunch of 'think-tank' who sit around a table. Let them get elected by S'poreans 1st, then tell me if their 'support' to whoever is important to me.
