Cmon i drive and i wish i can kill them for making pay for so many things. But lets be fair. Accidents are caused by YOURSELF, the driver. What you want LTA to do? Drive for you? You choose to be impatient, you choose to speed and you choose to not give way and you choose to die still wanna blame people. When I was in Europe, do you know their traffic system is damn lousy and disorganised that I wonder how I can drive there compared to the orderly system we have here. But surprisingly, their accident rate is low! And the locals tell me that it is simply down to the driving habits of the people there. They give way to one another and take extra care when driving.
Be amazed when u stand on the side of the road and you see cars from 4 directions turning left and right and going straight with no traffic lights, with no proper round about markings, they just go anyhow but yet you see drivers slowing down when they see another going his way.....
With our system, our roads would be safer if only we have more first class drivers too. -

Have you people noticed the all the scratch mark on the road divider along the bukit timah bridge? This is definitely one of the accident hot spot in Singapore as you can always see fresh marks after a few days. And personally I do know of someone who lose his arm in a motorbike accident at the exact same spot about 15 years ago.
Till now, I am still wondering what LTA and TP has done to warn motorist about the potential danger there around the bend.

accidents generate money for hospital....mechanics...etc n gov wants money...

Another accident hot spot that I know of is the junction of Tuas Ave 20 and Tuas Cresent.
I have personally witness so many bad accidents there, some involving fatality. And the cause of this is because there is no traffic lights at the junction and there is not enough signs to indicate to motorist to stop and watch out for traffic.
