World Bank Chief lost his job over favoritism - should ours?

If someone practises favoritisms in promotions of the people he likes or favours, what will happen to that organization?
Is it not worse than corruption to do so?
We have seen what has happened in the NKF episode, have'nt we?
The consequence is obvious, is it?
Are our ministers following such a good practice in exercising objectivity and level-playing field in using their powers to promote their staff in their respective ministry or department.
Will they quietly manuerving behind the scene so as to promote their own connections without going through the same high standards practised by successful MNCs or Fortune 500 companies? -
In Singapore the ministers don't seem to justify their millions dollar pay comparing to the top political players in the world, does any body believe they will justify that they are not practicing nepotism or favoritism?
