Maybe it will interest you that javanese and malay languages are a minority in this global world. Ever wonder why Sg is able to progress by leaps and bounds is because we are able to adapt and foresee the importance in English, and that in turn contribute to our economy and hence the capability to buy better toys for our military. So if english wasn't the preferred medium in communication, why is your Dr M encouraging your citizens to master english?
