Food comes from Malaysia - that is under the economic aspect of our relations. Face it, We are each other's most important trading partner, without us, Malaysia would not be better off.

All i can say is that every person is different. Each has his own views of something, and each says things differently, but i can speak up for all Singaporeans here, that what we say can be backed by proof. Although some are just plain views, we try not to force our views unto others.

You respond to our rebuttals with other accusations with no relevance whatsoever to the point currently being dicussed, or worse, call us names. Sudaimiki, a Malaysian had initially joined the forum with similiar intentions to you, cause problems, initiate flame wars using another nick. We made it clear we had no time for his rubbish and told him that if he wanted to debase his country and people on this forum(like you're doing now), hes free to do so but he'll be ignored. He henceforth changed his nick and we had a lively spritied but respectful debate on the topic. Maybe you should take a lesson or two from him, starting with actually sticking to the topic being debated. -

You claim Singaporeans get cheap water. True but not without the constant threat of "potong" from Malaysia from time to time. So is it really still cheap water , or cheap water with a real threat.
Personally, i would rather drink the new water than to have the possibility of the water supply cut off
So Dr M should be very happy to know that we do not need to depend on Malaysia's water. And in his response, why not let the water agreement end now? ( U see what i mean. )
