There were 2 FAKE patriots here whom throw insults at people who don't want to stay in Singapore, and insist that there are many people who think like them, who will fight and die for Singapore.

Being a 'country' run like a corporation, our citizens are ruthlessly cut down and thrown to one side if we do not bring value to the corporation.
I can't see how we expect people to be loyal to a ruthless corporation. -

I think there were theories, that if Singapore were to go into war-mode, it will first close off all modes of escape (shut off air and sea routes) so that the people cannot leave, and have no choice but to fight and protect those million-dollar jokers.
Then the foreigners also get trapped here, and this is when our Total Defence (Diplomatic defence) comes in. The countries of these people will have to intervene and put pressure on the aggressor. -

And I agree with you, we ARE good, but pride goes before the fall. Someone here thinks that SAF is so invincible that a bullet cannot kill him. Every army has its own weaknesses. A smaller army can always defeat an army with modern technology and of a bigger size, just look at the history books and you will know. -

I think we should be confident of our defence force, but never to the point that we think they are invincible.
In addition, a defence force is made up of people. If there are people whom act stupidly during a war (believing a bullet can't kill them for instance coz SAF is invincible), then we may lose a war because of such people. -

Everyone goes home happy.
I think the enemy is really stupid if he doesn't know what is going to hit him when the smoke grenade is triggered... -
