President Nathan and his 97 uniformed-helpers. Why so many??

  It was reported in http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/singaporelocalnews/view/277460/1/.html that: 97 military officers have been appointed as Honorary Aides-De-Camp to the Singapore President, S. R. Nathan.
  
  What ?!??!?!!! NINETY-SEVEN???!??!?!?! Why does the President of Singapore need 97 uniformed-assistants???
  
  I thought that the only situation when you find 97 military officers in the PresidentÂ’s official residence is when a coup dÂ’etat has just happenedÂ… HahahaaaaaaÂ…Â…
  
  Please, someone who knows what's happening, can you tell me why Pres. Nathan needs SO MANY assistants?

  97 uniformed helpers to guard him? What a joke...I think those 97 help to clean istana,cut grass,gardening and other miscellaneos chores so that he don't need to pay levy for foreign workers to do the job.
