Clearly shows how P*P sells so much propaganda it makes me puke... their policies clearly cannot exist with first world, state of the art educational and intellectual pursuits.

The failure of UNSW shows clearly that they have no ability to govern a first world nation of high wage, intellectually vibrant, global city where cutting edge science and the arts flourish.
This is what happens when dishonorable barbaric bullies rule.
Singapore is like an ape society where the strongest ape (guns and bankruptcy laws in Singapore context) gets to rape the female apes and the rest of the ape colony refuses to stand up to this kind of barbaric behavior out of apathy and fear.
P*P government is only capable of making Singapore into a bread and butter nation fit for coolies... -

Dam heng for me...
was looking at going to NSW but wasn't interested in the courses, so i enrolled in Newcastle with PSB... glad i made the right choice.
Anyway i would expect the team at NSW to atleast complete the course for the current students in Singapore, i mean a couple of years more right? maybe move to a smaller place or rent a location from EDB. And not juz pull out and move back to kangaroo land.
Well rather dissappoint that this will happen to a *top 8* university in ozzie... Expect them to understand that the first 1 or 2 years u can't really break even or make a profit... the school will need time to get its reputation and standing in the Singapore / Asian community up, then start outsourcing to different countires around asia for students.
Anyway nuff said, i feel for those NSW students. If anyone of you is out there, and need some feedback on other overseas unis in singapore can drop me a note, i abit to searching b4 i decided.

according to the newspapers reports, if I not wrong, they wanted to move to a smaller location but EDB played hard ball and insisted they spend $140 to build new campus... so they say "up yours" and leave... unlike Singaporeans that have to suffer whatever they push down our throats...

The way Minister Lim Hern Kiang put it it makes it look like he has done everything possible to help UNSW tie over all practical difficulty. Can't someone at EDB be made answerable for such a fiasco in initial planning and support netwwork. -

but anyway, i do feel for the students. it's unfortunate that they are the ones who ulitmately suffer when the ones who screwed up big time are those at the top.
and most disconcertingly, there is nothing that we can do about it.

Cannot even do simple maths of calculation ! of doing business !!! - What they thing open door straight got so many business !!! Of course they must do their calculation base on slow build up of business !!!

Yep then we open basic logic course for - high pay people who run the country also high pay scholars who all involve- on how to run a simple business ! lecturer we hired Mr prawn noodle seller who make big money to teach them !!! -

These world-renowned institutions, unlike the UNSW, do not depend - nor need - on soliciting funds through running overseas campuses. The really top universities, unlike Singapore's top universities, do not even need to put up ads to pull in their best applicants and they can pretty much still fill their campuses if they tripled their yearly enrolment.
As a matter of fact, these universities have endowment funds measuring in hundreds of millions - that, alone, would more than be enough to help them tide over any immediate cashflow problems. -
