My dad is healthy and strong, accomplished in his department and has been serving for more than 20 years. But he has retired (at 62) and now works as a "part-time" in the same department, drawing a salary that's about a quarter of his previous pay. And doing just as much work.
These are, after all, delusional despots living in a realm of their own - by all accounts, the only double standards that could potentially arise would stem from any ordinary folk even comparing their lot with these delusional tyrants'. -

What I meant was, our leader familee has proven to singaporeans that in singapore, singaporeans can accept generations after generations of leaders from the SAME familee to run singapore. And not just direct familee blood. As long as related.
So, the example has been set for more good familees to replicate the same 'magic'.
Also, our current world renowned leader has proven a way to manage singapore continuously, nonstop, 24x7, everyday, holidays included, rain or shine, dawn to dusk, for more than 4 decades in a row by 1 man and or his genius genes inheritants. thus, future leaders, who may emerge in as short as 3.5 years time or 35 years time can be assured that to rule like this is possible. Rule so wonderfully that basically all support and no major opposition, if the same 'concepts' adopted. Lets see in future which other bombastic leader gets to practise the same style. -

let me guess, your dad arent scholars and definitely no PAP party members right? your dad is consider lucky not to work in mac donalds and kopitiam. anyway, why not ask your dad who he vote for in the last election? is he vote for it, dont complain it. -
