I remember that day,i saw an article in the newspaper about some motorcar drivers who pump petrol n then drive away without settling their bills.I was very angry when reading this article becoz i have work as pump attendant before.
For your information,if a driver pump petrol n run away without paying,the cashier n the pump attendant have to pay for the bills,not the petrol companies.Cashier n pump attendant pay was not high,only around $1100,n take home around $800+.Imagine,they still have to pay for the run away driver bills,how pity they are.
Thats why the government should setup a rules or guideline that drivers should settle their bills first before pumping petrol.Just like what Malaysia did in their country.But what i am pissed is our government dont learn good thing from other countries,but always copy bad things from them.
Like the GST,when our government impose GST,they say Western countries also got impose GST.But Western countries pay in general are high,why our country dont follow them?Like in Australia,they got GST,but a dishwasher pay in Australia was $10 Australia dollar per hour.How much did our dishwasher get per hour?$4 dollars?Sucks!!!!!Our PAP government are so fuk up!!!!! -

Our opposition is weak and lack proper and strong candidates in major GRCs like Jurong, Hong Kah, West Coast, East Coast and Tampines.
PAP always over-run the greater population.
Without any of the opposition having the courage to "attack" these GRCs, people don't see the strength of spirit in them. As much as SMCs are important and potential strongholds for opposition, opposition should take a look into GRCs' population needs too. -

nowadays, many kiosk all with self-service pumps mah...the drivers themselves operate the pump, confirm can pump and run lah...
I noe in some countries, you pay first (cash) to the attentant then the attentant unlock the pump - but here they scared sh*t that the attentant take money or take more money - no true solution one... -

how to determine the price the driver is suppose to pay when the petrol is not even fill yet?
when u go to a supermarket, do u pay 1st then get ur groceries? no!
when u dine out, to u pay 1st before eating? no! except fastfood
petrol companies would want the drivers to go inside their convenient store and wait, this case,they could shop around the convenient store and thus, generate more revenue for the company.
No, i do not work before in a petrol kiosk, but the logic is the same for all industries, u get the goods first, then pay up.
dun talk shi.t about politics or some PAP nonsense, it doesnt concern them at all.
shi.t workers like u dunno the economies of scale and serviceablilty, only know how to complain, complain. thats why society scums like u would grow to hate FT.

It is somewhat rather simple minded, but still the sad truth nonetheless. Winning a GRC would be a first step. But Winning a GRC is 1 of to things that has to be done. Winning to a point that PAP has less than 66.6% of the seats in Parliament.
But before that, till the next elections, everyone should spread the word on PAPs oppressiveness. All the mainstream media is controlled. so for now, by word of mount, thru the internet, spead the word, pass the message on. Use the internet, go to every well visited forum that you know of. Start by "verbabally" protesting in the internet. Do no relent till the next GE. Go forth and spread the word of democracy. -

you can run but you can't hide, the next time you want to pump and run, look around you, the cctvs are watching you......a friend used to work as a cashier during the hols....100% all 'runners' kanna caught later and have to pay petrol and also demand letter fee from lawyer (usually $100)...

before the next election, you should go do a check if there are more runaways in the PAP area or the Opposition area. This will be a good weapon for the opposition to win back the GRC. The employees at the lowest levels don't have anyone to turn to when they're unfairly penalised like this, do they? Short of risking their lives by standing in the way, how do you expect them to stop the thieves?

It is regrettable that our own people deliberately seek out destardly means of 'freebies'. The best response is to place recording cameras at the pumps itself to record the license plate number of each car. In the event any try to drive off without paying, the pump attendant can confirm the make and vehicle and lodge a police report.
The law can likewise ensure a punitive punishment for the offender, along with the option of banning him from driving all vehicles for a proposed duration. -

i think an "ez link card system" should be implemented, where you can pay before you pump, at the petrol pump itself, without having to walk to and fro, which saves time and effort. Perhaps, it could put a nets machine there, put a counter there, with a petrol attendant there to collect payment.
