Gurkha guards spotted at currency hse?

as in topic title...this afternoon i took 176 for joyride and i was passing by this "Currency House" at Keppel rd/Pasir Panjang road building and saw two Gurkha guards inside the premises....i thot their job only to protect the old despot how come they down there?

What if one day Singaporeans starts an uprising againsts the government?
One thing I hate to see is not these moneysuckers run off with the money, but that these moneysuckers run off with the money and being protected by the Gurkhas
kinda tarnish their good image, but we all know, Gurkhas are loyal and dedicated to their mission

Base on the flat units, I guess an estimate of more than 5000 Gurkhas (and expanding with newer buildings coming up).
I wonder to myself why we need so many of them.
Will the govt uses them on us if the shoving and pushing begins? (remember, LKY openly admires and supports Deng's use of force on Tien Na Men, Beijing.) -
