no wonder SDP is not going anyway. Even the Taiwanese themselves, KMT or PDP, are not so proud of their 'vibrant' democracy. Taiwanese in China are proud of themselves in every other areas except democracy, and never advocate that kind of democracy for China. Now SDP in Singapore is quietly admiring that.
SDP is the bloody reason why oppositions in Singapore, as a whole, are losing credibility.

The 'Truth' should be able to stand on its own under any kind or types of spotlight, whether in Singapore or overseas.
Is there anything printed by the SDP that is not the ''Truth'' ?
If Singapore is proud of its successes, why should we be ashamed of any discussion of the ''filth'' ?
Is the hurt to our pride due to the fact that revelation of the ''filth'' would actually expose the docile stupidity of a people that allow the ''filth'' to be accumulated for 45 years ?
Is this not typically hypocritical ''Face'' value ? -

There's no bigger delusion than to subscribe to the notion the government and ruling incumbents are seperate and independent entities in a regime run by despots with a heavily politicised Judiciary, Legislative and Executive. -
A good article , unfortunately the SDP's Chee Siok Chin does not realize that Taiwan under the KMT rule was not quite different than that of the PAP's rule, MYJ is no different from LHL or GCT only interested in KMT being in Power not the country.
Newspapers, magazines, TV and radio networks are owned by the state.

You see, as they the KMT have had a slight majority in the Legislative Yuan, The Pan Blues could have done a lot to help improve the lives here of the Taiwanese, but, they spent the last 7 years, blocking every Bill in the LY and worst of all t, they did not come up with any good alternative plan. Talked to many Taiwanese in China, Singapore and Hong Kong, they are not afraid of being thrown in jail without trial, they are afraid to be sent back to Taiwan for good.
Looks like Lee Teng Hui is able to entertain some Japanese very well with this kind of democracy. -
