Singapore is famous for not being corrupt and claimed to be a pure meritocracy.

Ganering int'l support for an oppressed people is not uncommon. Do you think those in East Timor, who earned thier freedom with huge help from international pressure are ashamed of it? Thier leader even got a nobel prize for it. Do do you look at them differently? I know I do look at them differently, with more respect that is.
Although we in singapore are not at the same scale or level of oppression as those in East Timor previously, we still on the same side of the coin. -

SINGAPORE : Foreign Affairs Minister George Yeo said he sees hope for North Korea's industrial city of Kaesong.
He said this after visiting the facility on Wednesday, which is located just 10 kilometres from the world's most heavily-guarded border.

It's not about airing our dirty linen, but it's about their mentality.
Their tactics don't irk, their mentality does. I don't want such a party to govern Singapore should PAP fall. -

Truth is most singaporeans & the opposition camp might not like what Chee is doing, but how many can say that they have actually brought more attention about the disparity in Singapore to the commoners than Chee did in Singapore and also the attention of the outside world on the iron fist governance of the state of s'pore?
How many of you would have actually known about it if it was not for Mr Chee? Would you think there would acutally be a debate on all this numerous topics if there wasn;t someone who actually took time to look into it.
