Hello pple , recently i was at J8 an i happen to notice a female saf LT. AND her sizeIII is jus like that of a primary school kid !!! she looked as if she could be knocked out with one punch.
How does the SAF makes decision on promoting personnel?? Cause i tink alot of pple would doubt her ability to be a LT !!!
Not looking for any trouble jus curious !! And i am not biase toward male -

But then, dun look down on female officer's size. As long they can lead, I gladly follow them into battle. -

Second point... I agree with wombat. If females can lead, I will very gladly follow them as well. In war, they are soldiers, and the distinction between gender should not get in the way. -
I agree with wombat and EXCO.
Also not every job in the SAF requires a person to be physically very strong, just a good brain. -
btw...ncc cadet officers are white bars...saf officers are black bars..so quite obvious....
and some ncc pple the those fucked up 'seh' ...easy to identify..hahaa..

mi no difficulties recognizing it. cause my friend and i also cannot find the NCC written there!!!
I suppose if her leadership impresses pple then bo pian no complaint. but i guess once one person resent it then most likely the platoon also will agree -
aiya...saf officers mostly cannot make it one, be it male or female (lagi jialat). anyway if u sign on as a officer, die die also pass out...so wad do ya think??

I disagree with the comment. In any organisation, there are good and bad ones. Management skills in peacetime, and wartime is two different things. One officer may win his man favor or do well in exercises....but mabbe because he knows how to "play the game." Wartime throws in a lot of unknowns, under pressure ...he may not behave the same way.
Not 100% sure. but recall a saying...."Heros are born out of times..."
My point is.....not really fair to make such a blanket statement. Just my two cents.

I am an officer myself and to me, I respect the rank that the President has imparted onto the female LTA.
Of cuz, if she is working under me and she f*cked up, I will mete out the same punishment as I award to the male LTA.
